Bought two 10oz bottles of the Torco Accelerator that got delivered today. Next track day is planned for next weds night. Ive been reading a lot of threads on other boards today regarding the Torco but I still have some ???
On the bottle it says that when added to a tank of 93 octane (5 gallons) it will boost it to 102 octane. When I go to the track I usually try to have 1/4 of a tank left which is approx 5 gallons or less. The thing is I don't want to dump in one whole bottle just for a few runs at the track ( I usually get in about 3-4 runs) while the rest of it is used just for the ride home. What I planned on doing was mixing one of the bottles into a 5 gallon gas tank of 93 and then bringing what I need in separate bottles to the track and adding it there. The only thing is I don't know how much I should have with me to make it worth while if mixing w/ 1/4 of a tank or less. If I have to use the whole bottle I will just to see how it works out but Id rather mix it separately and use what I need at the track. Any suggestions on how much I should have on had to mix at the track or just say screw it and dump the bottle in there?
