Thanks guys

An update for ya.. Been seeing some fresh colorful greenish stuff on the garage floor - anti-freeze Not a huge amount but defiantly just started happening.

Also, whenever I start my car, there is a chirping sound coming from the front. Sounds like a TOB but it does not go away when I press the clutch in. It's pretty consistent and gets quieter as I come to a stop. when I do stop, the noise stops. It does completely go away after a while though. I was thinking possibly the belt

Other than that, still tearing up the asphalt

Could be an idler pulley as well.

Doesn't the blower move a few coolant hoses around. Might want to double check all your hose clamps and such before a little leak equals a bad day.....

Here you can see all the optional parts on a KB that come standard with the Tork Tech kit. Thanks to Gearbanger

They may have slightly overfilled the system and its overflow but I would check the new couplers and pipes around the blowers snout.
The fact that the kit does not have a plug at the high point to burp it is a bit troubling to me too. On my 4Vs that plug was mandatory to properly fill the system. I guess if you parked yours at a nose up angle that would help but I digress...
The noise you are hearing is either belt slippage due to a weak tensioner (very common) or an idler going out. Need to rev it and listen. If it makes the noise at idle then most likely its an idler and if you take a long screw driver and place its tip against each center bolt on each idler and place your ear on the end of the handle you should be able to hear which one it is.
Good excuse to get a Billet Flow idler setup

Also just for safeties sake check the oil and make sure the coolant leak isn't from a blown head gasket.

One question though, why did you remove the radio?

Thanks Epik, reason I took out the radio was....well........just something different. I never had my radio on anyways when I was in the stang so figured it would be a good spot for some gauges

My idlers squeak a bit too; just started happening when the weather got warm. As for the coolant, do you have the new aluminum / stainless reservoir, or the old black plastic one?

O ok. The plastic one has a hole in the "cap", and coolant will sometimes bubble out of there when I shut the car off due to the momentum of the coolant flowing into the tank.

That's the main reason why I ran Premium Gold coolant through my blower and green through my engine. That way, when you've got a leak, you know which of the two its coming from. The squeek tells me its coming from the front somewhere and getting on the serpentine belt. It turned out to be the water pump on my Explorer the last time I had that happen...but its kind of an apples and oranges comparison.

I also forgot to add in the cost of the need for a new hood when going to the 2.6L Twin Screw update for the KB (since it won't clear the stock hood either)....so take that for what its worth.

Maybe you could use the extened hood scoop Tork Tech sells with the KB 2.6L.....if you've got any money left over afterwards that is?
