Fox Torque converter for AOD trans

need to buy a Torque converter for my 331cu with AOD trans, 373 rear ... engine makes about 330hp to the wheels ..i m looking for 10" with around 3000stall ..does anyone use the
TCi 10in AOD Street Fighter Torque Converter 432800 ??

my experience with TCi converters is pretty bad. and honestly i wouldnt use an off the shelf converter for anything

personally id call pro torque

was way off for the combo... ended up laying the fins over on the stator.

And yet you say that it was “way off for the combo“. That’s like expecting a 7.5” rear to not blow up behind a 500 ft/lb sidestep with slicks.
if the combo was way beyond the capacity of the converter...how is it the converters mfg fault?

Have Dusty Bradford get you one through ptc . That’s what I run in my street car . 700 plus to the tire and drive it everywhere when i want to . Freddy brown aod non lockup with overdrive .

It was a tci outlaw X converter built for the combo... it just wasnt right.

Personally, I'd call FTI converters. I spoke personally with the owner, we discussed my camshaft, compression, gearing, vehicle weight, and intended purpose for my car. He pointed me in the right direction suggested a great converter and I never had a problem. https://ftiperformance.com/
