While I can't find any out yet for the V6, it sounds like a worthwhile upgrade. From what I read, it offers TQ improvement over the stock part. Does anyone have any experience swapping this part out on previous mutangs?
A torque converter will help with the launch at the track. On a 5.0, a 3000 stall would gain .5 (typical) in the big end of the 1/4 with no gear up grades. Add a gear and it was usually around .7 reduction in your 1/4 mile times. This was old school engineering though. You have trac control and spanish oak to deal with. Old EEC IV was like an abacus. Move a few beads and you are right where you need to be.
