torqued head down with no washers!!

i have gt-40p heads and a arp head bolt kit. i forgot to use the washers and torqued the heads down... do i need these? would this mess my headgaskets up if i tooked the bolts out?

If you take the bolts out you NEED a new gasket. You can also try doing each bolt 1 by 1. Yes you need them

why do i need them? and would the one bolt at a time method work? i really dont want to get a new head gasket at 75 each like in my other thread lol

what kind of gaskets do you have? if you have mls gaskets you can take them out.

Yea, just do one at a time in the proper order and you should have a problem.

moly on the upper bolts and sealent on the lower! Follow the torque valves ARP tells you to do NOT what the head instructions tell you to!

i was told moly on both sides of the washers. on the upper bolts to your saying?

just a quick question also. stock irons use no washers, gt40's are iron why would you need washers? dont they just protect the heads?
