TPS/IAC question

Ok, this might not belong here but Ill try it and see...

WHERE IN THE CRAP CAN I GET A NEW TPS and/or a new IAC from besides Ford. I was under the impression from here that they can be purchased from any auto parts store. WRONG!!! at least for around here it seems. I went to 3 different auto parts stores, advance, pep boys, and a private auto shop in the area that does custom work ect... All said the same thing, the only place Ill get something for an '03 is from Ford.

Will a tps or an iac from any 99+ work on mine, or would that do weird things to the chip/ecu? They had the parts for like an '00-01, but nothing for an '02+.

I work for advance and our computer shows the same thing up to 02 models on the TPS , I dont think there would be any difference , call ford and ask them if the 03 is a different part number , if not then the 02 and older will work , same thing on the IAC , get the dealer to tell you if they are the same .

They are the same part. Actually I believe they are the same from 96 and up for those 2 paticular parts.
