tps problem

i was setting my TPS the other day and i noticed at WOT it only register 4V. should i buy a new sensor or is this acceptable?

dont know, but check the tps itself sometimes it gets gunked up with s hit, mine had to be changed cus it had all kinds of gunk(black clumps jammin it up)

I would check the VRef and ground to the TPS. A bad ground will diminish the return signal.

The puter goes to WOT at 3.7 volts, but I dont think I would want the sensor being that out of whack.

Also, what does it read baseline?

i have it set at .98-99 at idle and WOT maxes at 4.0.

from what i read i thought that it was wuppost to max at 5 volt or is that just the input?

what kind of device do you use when calibrating your tps and how do i connect it

just use a digital multi-meter set it to DCV ( direct current voltage)
