I have a Zex nitrous system and haven't filled the bottle lately. I filled it the other day but the nitrous solenoid isn't opening . I tried setting TPS. I can set the idle voltage to .995 but it only goes to 4.5 at WOT. Do you think this is a TPS problem or a solenoid problem?

Your TPS sounds normal.
Even though the tps uses Reference Voltage (0-5v) it seems that the tps output never hits a full 5 volt.

4.5v -4.7v seems normal.

I know very little about nitrous though.

find a 5v source in your car and hook the solinoid directly to it to test and see if it is working correctly. if it doesnt then you know its the solinoid. make sure there is no n2o in the line while you do it

zex nitrous systems program themselves to the tps voltage.now i dont have a nitrous kit but have read alot about them.i think if you unhook the module to the zex kit and reinstall it youll have to reprogram your tps voltage so even if it is a little low itll still opp the noid.
