(TPS)

---Make sure yours looks exactly like the one above. The TPS for the 5.0 is not adjustable; As you see from the slots in the mounting areas, the TPS for the 2.3L is. Would hate for you to find you had an incorrectly boxed item after installing it. Not only will you not be able to return it, but if like mine, it's a PITA to get to.
---Two screws hold it in place. Try and match the screws up well with a phillips bit because once you start stripping them, they'll be a PITA to get out, if not this time, then the next.
---Which brings up this "Q"... Does anyone have the specs on the screws? I'm thinking about swapping mine out with cap screws if possible. I like the idea of an allen wrench over a screw driver.
---Remove the two screws, slide the connectors off the bracket & then separate the two connectors. Reverse to install and make sure you keep the sensor side of the unit clean of oils and such.
---You'll want to set desired idle with the AIC disconnected after you install the TPS, then go for the
voltage reading off the TPS.
