I am trying to get rid of my hanging idle problem and a buddy had a similar problem and dropped his tps voltage to .977 mine was at .990. I tried dropping it to .977 and still i get a hanging idel it takes forever for my car to come to an idle. I was wondering if anyone has a good understanding on what the TPS voltage should be. This is what is done to my car. 1995 Mustang GT vert.

You haven't ever done a search on this topic, have you. :nonono:

Do a search.....all your questions about the TPS for the 94/95 5.0 will be answered in 5 minutes.

With regards to your hanging idle.......remove and clean the snot of the IAB valve with TB cleaner. Replace your ECT/ACT sensor's if they are old. Their output starts to become wonky when they get old which can cause idle problems (and no, they may not set off a CEL). Make sure that the two sensor wires inside your MAF meter are clean. Check for vacuum leaks. Check for exhaust leaks. After you've done all that, unplug the battery to reset the PCM.

If everything above checks out, then you may just have to accept the fact that you're idle is not going to be great with the mods you have done. Some people have had good success using tweaker to get their idle under control with H/C/I mods.

Any suggestions on how to make it 300rwhp on motor. I am thinking a chip.
Longtube headers and an offroad H pipe would help.
