I wouldn't go there. It's a device that attempts to correct faulty TPS voltage reading at WOT (points above 70% open which is a trigger point for various functions such as A/C cutoff). If the TPS is not showing full voltage at WOT ( or the full range from idle to WOT) the sensor should be replaced. Cheap fixes are not the answer.

You don't reach full TPS voltage 'cause the gas pedal hits the floor before the TPS is maxed out. To fix that, you can do this easy mod, found at MustangWorld:

Mustangworld - 99 - 00 Gas Pedal Adjustment tip

I've done it on my Cobra clone and it works really well.

WTH?! I never knew about this stuff, So what about TPS? and what is the advantage of putting that spacer on there?

The spacer takes the slack out of the throttle cable so you get the butterfly valve in the throttle body open 100% (TPS voltage at 100%). Which means it's easier to hit WOT. It also brings the gas pedal up about even with the brake pedal. The only downside I can think of is that you'll likely stretch out the throttle cable over time, since the gas pedal doesn't completely hit the floor at WOT.

Before I did this mod, to get WOT I'd have to slam the pedal to the floor, and then only sometimes. After the mod, no problems.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I never modded my gas pedal, and my throttle body opens up 100%.

The spacer just removes the slack in the gas pedal. It should open all the way anyhow.

Snake oil. TP for WOT in a typical 94-95 from the factory is 642 AD counts - where max is 1023 AD counts just about 5v. So at about 63% throttle, the PCM thinks it's at WOT anyway - don't have to matted...
