That won't do anything. The PCM takes a baseline TPS reading when the key is turned on. That baseline reading becomes the closed throttle refrence. Doesn't matter if its .90 or 1.15V.

Not sure i totally agree with that???

Mines was suffering from a hanging idle....when the base setting was checked I was 1.2 volts.. i was having a hanging idle at start and between shifts....re-set it to .098...hanging idle was gone....

It may take a reading every start...but the position does matter....
 
From the Corral thread that I posted above, pay close attention to what MFE and Stangplus2birds have to say. They are both EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the 94/95 PCM and how to tune it properly.

Just so everyone is clear. The 94/95 car's have many differences from earlier Fox car's. You can't assume that just because something worked on a Fox car, the procedure is going to be identical for a 94/95 car. I highly suggest you do a search both here and on The Corral before you try somthing new with your 94/95 stang.

I'm going to repeat myself.....trying to set the TPS at a specific voltage for the 94/95 cars is a waste of time.

The fox style TPS has a different kind of connector, but otherwise works the same. It is the EEC that does the baselining, it has nothing to do with the sensor itself. Read thread #1 that was referenced above -- with my Accufab fox-style throttle body setup, I run 0.85v at closed throttle and the EEC correctly detects part throttle at 0.89v. On a Fox setup, the EEC does not baseline, instead it uses 1.00v as the part throttle breakpoint. So I can already prove ours works different. :nice:
