Going to the track tommorrow with the 02 GT..

What is the stock rev limiter set at.. and what should I set it to with the Predator?

What RPM should I shift at (didn't get a chance to install shiftlight) and I will have the stock tires, so what should I launch at?

I also plan on adding timing with the Predator.

MODS- K&N CAI, 75mm BBK, Trickflow Plenum, 3.90's, Predator tune.

Start out launching at about 2.5 K and shift at about 5.5 K and adjust your launch and shift points during each run until you get your fastest time. Also practice shifting the clutch while holding the gas pedal down. I would not change the rev limiter settings I dont think you will find your shift points higher than 6 K

5.5 K for shifts, you might have to experience w/launch RPMs based on track conditions. Have Fun!

#1 dont bother the rev limiter cuz u have no need to go above 6200 rpm ( or atleast thats what ive heard anyways......lol

#2 Power shift ur car and shift at 5500 rpm

#3 Do not dump the clutch at 2500 rpm.......i dont even look at my tach when i launch, just feather it and go mostly on feel, just keep practicing and u'll get the feel for it.....thats the most important part
