Does anybody have any experience using trackbite with the stock rearend with gears?? I was wondering if it'd be too much for the rearend of my car. I'll have one last weekend of track time next weekend and wanted to know if it'd be safe for my car.

In case it might help, I launch at 2000rpm and slip the clutch (I DO NOT dump it) and i've got 3.73's in the rear.

well.. i'm not sure if it's called "trackbite" or not, thats just what i've heard it called..

It's some kind of liquid u can pour/squirt in front of ur tires and then burn out on.. and it makes them really sticky

yes it is safe as long as you aren't pushing crazy power without a built rear. I've seen it used several times on near stock cars w/no problems, I will be using vht with my 285's next weekend for the first time.

It does seem to work best with this method-

1. five sec. or so burnout
2. have buddy spray all over the tires
3. second burnout just 2 or 3 secs
4. line up and go, rather quickly

thank you for the info man!! :D I think I might just have a buddy spray it down, then let me burnout pullin up to the line.. i cant wear my tires down much.. unless a 4 second burnout wouldnt wear them down
