On an 18x9 wheel, How much of a diff will a 265 vs. a 275 up front make.?

Obviously a 275 will be worse, but is there really that much of a differance?

if not then 275/35 all for corners. if yes the front 265 rear 285.

Thanks

I just went through the same dilema. i had 265/35 up front and they tracked with the road pretty bad, then i went to 275 up front, they still tracked with the road, but not as bad. And i dont care what people say, both sizes rubbed during hard turning.

which rims caused rubbing.. was it the tire rubbing and/or wheel as well?

I'm planning on 18x9 03 cobra rims with 265 front 275 back.. i think it'd be perfect

I have 17x9's...

I found the car 'tracked' much more with 265 front and 275 rear than it does with 275's all around...(and the fronts never rub...)

I have 285/30 on my 18x9's in front and 295/30 on my 18x10's in back.
They track like all hell, but what fun is driving if your wheels never turn unexpectedly? (Got tires cheap)

Strangely enough, they DO NOT rub... even when fully cranked making a U-turn. Hmmm...what a nice opportunity to share the first pics of my car...

I know it's a Jeep right now.

couldn't tell you for sure ...but my guess is the 275 are a better fit for the 9" wide wheels

I had 265's on my old Y2K's and they tracked really bad. I now have 275's on 03 Cobra rims and it tracks good...go figure.

Kdub those look sweet
Where did you get those and do they make a 17x9? I want to keep the stock setup in the front and get a wider setup in the rear. Also,I need to make sure that the color will match the oem wheels.

i think the reason why 275s track less then 265 is because 275s flex more with the road then 265s. all tires automotive tires flex 2%-3% side to side.
