Traclok problem...

I have an Explorer rear end in my truck which has 31 spline axles.
I need to rebuild the trac-lok, but was told by a dealer that the kit was $80, not the $50 that everyone has posted they paid. Is this because of the 31 spline? Or could it be that the parts guy looked up the wrong part? He seemed annoyed that he had to waste his time looking up a part for me. That was after he told me that they don't make a kit to rebuild the trac-lok. What is wrong with people.....
So am I stuck because of the higher spline count, or was this the wrong parts? I don't have the part numbers he looked up.

Sounds like you need to find another shop that wants to do business with you. Try mustangs unlimited. They may be able to help you out,as they are starting to carry quite a bit of truck stuff now.
