yes, the ultimate question...
I have a vert aode
ouch, it hurts just to say it.
I"ll probably be putting in a 5 spd later, cuz it annoys the neener out of me
Anywho, i'm going to work on getting my 3.73's in it now too, before the 5 spd actually, and i was wondering about traction... I already ported and polished the heads and intake myself, and without even setting the timing too well, (i'm guessing it's around 8-10) i already slide around the corners pretty easily.
Subframes, right? I'll build them
what about rear control arms? why are they so important?
Are they just firmer than stock with better bushings? IN that case, i can make them myself!!! (at least the uppers, shoot, in no time since my father in-law has a machine shop for a LIVING)
Do they have different lengths to set up a different angle?
From what i understand, you want the lower and uppers to point towards each other and form a triangle, the peak of which would be the center of gravity, is this true? Then wouldn't you have to relocate the control arms either up or down to adjust that angle?
Is there anything to this all and does anyone make this and am i just talking gibberish?
cmon guys, i don't wanna get beat by any more camaro's, even the ls1's, my old blue car took on SS's without a prob, now i'm actually having to put work into this thing!
