Trade for 03/04 Cobra?

Well, what do you expect to gain out of it? Is it just a newer car? You'll be going from an almost 500rwhp car to a 360rwhp, that's a huge difference. Also, your car looks hot in the avator(post pics), and judging by your sig, you've invested a lot into it. I guess it depends on WHY you want to do this.

I'm pretty much maxed out on HP right now (stock short block) and I'm hesitatnt on spending $2000+ on a block. I've always loved the 03/04's but so much time invested in this car now I would hate to see it go. We'll see what kinda deal happens and go from there.

u will be going from a car worth 7k to one worth 25k. It seems all well in fine at first, but once u start wanting to mod the terminator u will think twice cause the car already cost so much. Sure a pulley and tune wont run ya all that much, but once u get into the halfshafts (1k+, cause u WILL break the stockers), ported blower and so on, u will have 30k + tied up into a mustang that is losing value everyday.

Also, there are problems with terminators.. from the tick, to engines blowing out spark plugs. I was always so nervous with mine having one of those issues and not getting the warranty to cover anything.

It seems to me like a bad time to get a terminator. I think when the GT500 comes out (gets to the dealers etc) , that the terminator's prices will go down. A lot of peeps bought the terminator when they were the baddest factory mustang to date, but when the GT500 hits, some of them will be wanting to trade up to the new baddest factory mustang. If you want to trade to the 03/04 Cobra, I would wait (only a couple of months though) and see what the prices do. I still think that the street value will go down, but I could be wrong (and have been) before...........:rlaugh: That's one bad machine you have now; very nice!! :hail2:

Thanks guys! Nothing really wrong with it now. Just getting kinda tired of upgrading. I know that this motor won't last too much longer and a dart/world would replace it. Plus a transmission, built rearend. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ :(

You think my car is worth 7k??? In that case, I'm keeping it.

your car is worth 7k+ IMHO.

I would drive it until the short block goes and then do a nice non-factory (dart/world) stroker that would still be a good match for most if not all your current mods and turn up the boost if you want more power.

Chassis wise you can bolt up some good susp. parts and have a better ride than a 03-04, if you got an 03-04 you will end up wanting to go solid axle (atleast I would) and you would be basicly at the same car you have now with less hp and a car payment.

With that said...

I want an 03-04 myself someday...but I am not going to sell the 94 to get one.

A very good point. I have plans of driving a 944 turbo eventually...and then after that a late eighties ferrari...but I have no plans of selling my car to make either of those two a reality.

Though not rare enough to have value added, I imagine our cars will some day be in high demand as aside from the mod cobras, the 94 and 95 GTs and Cobras are the best and most unique of our body style (combining old school tech, with new school looks)

You would regret selling it every day. The 03/04 cars are nice, but don't feel like a real power car. Sure they pull, and they can put down some power, but they feel to comfortable. The suspension design makes them a pretty smooth ride. I don't want a smooth ride when I am in my Cobra. I want to feel the car around me so I know what its doing.

I am a bit biased though since I love your car so much. I plan on mimicing a good chunk of what you have under the hood there. Some differences, but not too many. I would think long and hard before making a choice like that.

Good luck with you decision though. Its a tough one. Shane

Just to clarify...your car is definately worth more than 7k. Maybe not on kelley blue book, but are cars are bought and sold to people who appreciate them. These people hold the values higher.....g/d...now I am pissed...j/k:rlaugh: ...Dude if you were thinking about dropping 25, drop 6 on an absolutely bullet proof bottom end. just my 2 pennies.:nice:
