As you guys know i was recenetly talking about building a 5.4 SOHC but after talking to Bill Fisher and others I am just going to use a 4.6 Block i just recently traded for. I have a cobra crank bought and will be starting the build I am excitied for the build!

Smart choice imo. The less weight you have over the front end the better....

you'll never regret it. mach1's make ~325rwtq when modded with boltons. that's more than a 5.4 2v makes.

though im sure those that do the swap arent concerned with cornering/handling as much as they are with roasting tires in a straight line.

how much heavier is a full 5.4L 4v setup compared to a full 4.6L 2v?
