When I first take off, or just reving in a parking lot, my car has a little BLAH then revs up, if that made any sense. Can it be the car is running too rich? Is there a way to adjust the fuel intake or am I way out in left field on this one.

Thank you. my car specs are below

I may be in left field on this reply so don't feel bad

You really can't adjust the fuel mix. Whens the last time a good tune-up was done on the car? I would pull a few plugs out and see what they look like. Also check the air filter and make sure its clean. Also on the Fuel pressure regulator is a vaccum line going to the intake. Pull this line after you just got through running or reving the car and see if any gas is in the line. If there is fuel than the fuel pressure regulator is toast. Also you could stick a tooth pick in the regulator and see if it gets wet ( the end where the vaccum line goes to)

Hope it helps.

Thanks prohawk. I changed the air filter last week and I just got some plugs which I'm installing after work today. I will check the Fuel regulator. never thought of that one. Thanks

NP. My car does this and I was able to help it out by doing a good tune-up but it still does it everyonce and a great while. I'm having trouble with my EDIS and I'm wondering if they are a related. Since the EDIS is 109.00 I'm in no hurry to buy it unless I know thats what it is lol
