Tranni broken? cost of rebuilt?

was revving 1st and spinning tires in parking lot but tried to put in reverse too quickly.

screeeeeeeeech!

now it does engage in reverse, but when i pop clutch....screeeeeeeech!


only moved car into parking space in 1st so i dont know how the rest of the gears are.

towed it home after work.

i am an idiot.

My Notch just got a rebuild.

91 T-5. 2nd gear, 3rd gear, all synchros, all blockers, new tabs on shift forks, rear seal, front retainer bearing and labor.= $655.00 Not too bad, trans is great now. A new one is $999 from D&D but I still saved 345 dollars.

I got my T-45 in my Cobra from D&D and I think it was due for trouble the first day I drove it, just wasn't right, so I didn't go that rought again with the T-5.

Reverse can be either cheap (reverse idler gear) or expensive if you damaged the countergear
