tranny fill

T5? Pull the fill plug out, put a pan under the trans, and climb inside and remove the shifter. It should take roughly 2.8 quarts, and you'll know it's full when some fluid comes out the fill hole in the side and starts running into the pan. Pop the plug back in, pop the shifter back on, and go for a drive!

I found a better idea. I opened the shifter area but didn't unbolt the shifter, it was a bitch and I would have to reseal the shifter and ****. Instead I just took off the little rubber boot and put the funnel down right there and put about 1.5 feet of 3/8 inch tube into the fill hole. Worked great and was easy to do, didn't even have to jack up the car!

You still have to crawl under and remove the Drain and Fill Plugs...
