So yesterday i took my cousin for a little ride in my car cause he has a non pi gt and he wanted to see the difference between them. So launched the car and as I shifted to second gear (ripped down pretty hard) the tranny just got loose so second gear did not exist basically. The shifter was second gear but the car would rev like it was neutral but i still had 3rd, 4th, 5th. So that sucked so i went around the corned and turned around, but the car in reverse backed up, took off in first and then i could not shift to any more gears. Neutral and second were first gear and it would not shift to third four or fifth. If i stopped the car would go into the 3rd 4th and 5th gear slots but it would be 5th gear because the car would not budge but it stalled so it wasn't in neutral. I think if messed up a linkage in the tranny, any ideas? BTW its a 2000 gt so it has a t45. Thanks alot have a good Fourth of JULY!

Check linkages from your shifter to the trans.
