Tranny Problems need help

Hey guys its been a long time since i wrote on the forum, but anyways I have been having problems with my C4

Its a 1968 C4.
The car has been sitting for about 4 to 5 months without ever being started
I rolled it around a couple of times in neutral but other then that nothing.
The tranny was leaking oil for 4 months ( Drops)
Over the 4 months i installed a B&M rachet shifter and a alum Drive shaft.
Last week I tried to move the car and it wont move out of Park?? It just stays locked.

Would the tranny not shift with out any oil?
The leak is comming from the cooler lines.
What could be my problem?

It need fluid pressure to engagae the clutches. No fluid=no pressure=no gears.

it should still get out of park. make sure it has fluid and double check your shifter install to make sure you can actually get it out of gear

sounds like you need to check your shifter install and the shifter cable.

Hey guys, I checked out everything under the car and could not see anything wrong.
It was shifting fine when I had it first hooked up so i really dont think its the shifter.
Could to tranny block rust on the inside?

I had removed the Kickdown switch while I was down there beacuse it was getting in the way of the shifter linkage

B&M Ratchet shifter uses a cable? If it does I would make sure the cable hasn't touched somewhere on the exhaust and melted it.
