Ford dealer, I was there and they told me that a "SVO" T-5 does not exist.

Ford dealer..that figures. Acurse there wasn't a T-5 JUST made for the SVOs. Its made by Borgwarner which is used in crap from Ford to GM. Ford bought a ton of them and installed them on there cars. The SVO was a shalf made car, meaning it was made from parts they already had laying around. I'm still researching this NWC and WC deal also. I have heard from a guy who owns about 6 running SVOs that said the "N" in NWC means Newer not Non. That most of these sites has it back wards but like I said I'm still researching this. I'm not really trying to urgue but its more I'm a stickler for facts. If what was said about the N meaning deal than we need to update SVOCA's site. That is why I'm resusing this so we can better imform people like my self :D

Here is what I've found out so fair. This is comming person who really knows his SVOs and notice that he gets some of his imfo from Ford also.

Ford is where that info came from -- the 85 svo came with a WC --

It is in one of the Ford brochures, but I can't find it right now (and I did look)...
It is pretty easy to tell ---

take the top off the trans, if you have all brass synchros, it is a NON-WORLD CLASS T5 -- if it has 4 fiber, and one brass (5th) it is a WORLD CLASS T5

the standard mustang may have done a mid-year swap-over, but the 85 SVO should have a World class T5.

EDIT -- here is a pretty reputale source for ya, and it specifically mentions the SVO
