tranny speedo gear for 95

The trans has a place for a mechanical speedo. The VSS & cable assembly from your auto trans will fit.

BUT
The 95 trans input shaft is 3/4" longer than the T5 from a 85-93 model T5. You will have to use the 94-95 bellhousing. The trans will sit further back and the shifter may not fit correctly in the hole in the body. The driveshaft may not fit either since the trans is 3/4" longer.

thanks for the info. it was a HUGE help. i started taking the aod out last night and got frusturated that it didnt have the speedo gear thing. it was nice waking up to some good info for once. i already have a 95 bellhousing. im running most stuff off of the 95. rear end. 5 lug conversion. and i have a alum driveshaft that seems to have a little bit of play in it so it should be able to fit the trans with no problems.

For the 95 trans to work, you'll also need the 94-95 specific clutch fork for the bellhousing, if you don't have it. Otherwise, it sounds like you're good to go in the transmission department. You can plug the oil lines, or find a way to adapt them to your power steering system to use it as a cooler for that system instead.
