tranny still good?

I have an aod tranny that was rebuilt with a TCI streetfighter kit and I removed the engine about 6 or 7 years ago. Any way it has been sitting outside this whole time in the car with the hood off and the front end sitting on the ground (no suspension). Think that tranny has been well enough protected to just put in my new car or will it be shot? It has not been taken apart and the drive shaft is still attached and should be full of ATF.

now that I think about it, I believe the TC is off. Im betting its shot

it might be alright as long as no water got in there, if there is any at all the clutches and bands will be shot
