Trans Back Up Light Harness

I finally got the motor and t-5 back in the car last night!! Pics coming soon! YEAH!! Now, of course, I have more questions...
1. The t-5 back up light harness has a different connector than my old auto trans(c-4). Is there a way I can re-wire the two harnesses together to make it work?

2. When I remove the computer(carbed now), will it affect my fuel level, oil pressure, and other gauges in the instrument panel?

The backup light switch on a T5 has two threaded brass studs. Find two nuts (preferably self locking nuts) that fit the studs. Cut the socket off the backup harness that you are currently using and crimp a ring terminal on each of the two wires. Use the nuts to secure the ring terminals on the backup switch
