Trans makes bad squealing type noise after cruising at 75-80mph for extended periods.

Greetings!

I'm running into an issue with my trans. Here is the situation in which it happens...

Cruising along on the highway around 75-80 mph for 20-30+ minutes, let off the gas to coast into a toll booth or even an offramp, the trans will start letting out this kind of squeaking / squealing noise as I come to a stop. This is with the clutch in or out and I believe when the trans is in neutral it is louder. Once I come to a stop, the noise is gone.

The fluid is fine, its not the clutch or related parts since it did this on the old one as well.

I'm guessing this is a bad sign but really can't afford to get the trans rebuilt. The trans is out of the car for another issue however and I want to look and see if there's anything visually wrong with it. Where could I start?

sounds like possibly a throwout bearing

I don't think its the TOB since its brand new and this noise happened before on the old one (110,000 miles).

I've recently replaced:
-Bearing Retainer
-Throwout bearing
-Pilot Bearing
-Clutch
-Pressure Plate
-Driveshaft

All are new and are functioning fine as far as I can tell.

and you're sure it's not coming from the engine area?? next culprit on my list would be the trans itself.

Interesting...I got this 85 Stang and this AOD is making noises. Been thru two rebuilds from the previous owner. Not sure what was done. At a roll theres a gear wind sound and a lil friction is felt. Nuetral the sound goes away. Goes through the shifts fine but you can here that noise while in gear through each gear till it winds out at freeway speed and cant hear it no more. Fluid is fine. Never happen to me but the wifey says sometimes reverse doesnt engage and sometimes it doesnt shift into first. Its been a year now that we have had it and I guess it did this twice. Interesting I'd say. Seems fine to me. Im getting my dodge ready incase the Stang goes out.

Sorry I also have a new aluminum driveshaft so its not the U-Joints. That is, if you were referring to me.

I'm begining to suspect the trans as well but any particular part to start looking at or just bearings in general?

I hate it when trannies start to have probs, rebuilds aint no joke. Quoted $650 to do a third rebuild or Yesterday I was able to find a rebuilt AOD for $750. If it was up to me, I would put hamsters on a running wheel chasing a carrot to make this thing get up and go.
