ok i have a 92 gt w/ a 5.0 and a t-5 trans. when i bought the car the trans was blown so i took it out n had it rebuilt and installed a new clutch that came w/ the car. last night i installed a steeda adj clutch cable and quad w/ firewall adj. got that done n was about to bolt up the t-5 to the bell housing and i didn't think it looked right. i put the trans down n set up to look directly through the t-o bearing an pressure plat and clutch disk....the t-o bearing is not lined up at all right....it is off to the right about 3/4 inch or so. so I'm wondering if i have the wrong fork or what...here are the part #'s i pulled off the fork and bell housing...
clutch fork E6ZR-7515-AA
bell housing E6ZR-6394-AA
as far as i know this is stock for this car, but according to the decoders I've found these would be off an 86?
as long as it's lined up well enuf to get the bearing retainer through will it be ok?
any help would be great....summer is almost over n i wanna get the bitch on the road....thx in advance
