Two Question.
1 whats is wrong with it and how did it happen.
2 is this something that I can rebuild.

Ok I drove about 200 miles today total. Nothing wrong car ran great. Got home car sat for about 1 hour. Started it up went about 1000 feet down the street when someone pointed out that I was leaking something. I looked under the car and it was tranny fluid pouring out the bell housing inspection plate. I mean pouring out like SPLASH. I stoped the car put it in reverse and nothing figured that would happen anyways. But the wierd thing is that no noise no sliping untill I stoped. I didnt even hear a bang or a click nothing.

Probably blew the front seal. Sometimes it's only the seal, somtimes hard parts fail and force pressures high enough to blow the seal. Eitherway it's coming out of the car, so you should probably just rebuild it.

Can you pull a tranny by yourself? The front seal isn't that tough to replace once it is out, but you gotta pull the tranny and converter.

Do you really think the shop you have it at wants to pull the tranny out just to have you go to Autozone to buy the $10 seal? Think about it. This job is 98% labor.

I would have it rebuild anyway, its coming out and you never know whats going to fail on it next. If nothing else replace the screen ,front and rear seal.
Doubt that you hurt it much.

Its alright No reason to be sorry. Dont think I said it was a freinds shop. I at the shop every weekend for hours just hanging out. I think he likes my car there cause people see the car and pull in gas up and come look at the car al the time. Hes pretty cool he even told me not to worry about paying right away. But I dont like owe people money thats why I asked how much and if I could do it my self. But since I have to get my knee orperatated on it looks like I have to pay to get it fixed if i want to drive it and its been two days and I miss it already. This sucks first I break my car and now my knee.
