Hey guys looking for help with a problem i'm having, but before i ask let me give you a little history on the car. Its a 96 mustang GT and a little over 2 years ago i had the old and worn T-45 transmission rebuilt with a kit Hanlon Motorsports makes and i put redline D4 fluid in. While the transmission was down i put in a light weight flywheel, ram clutch, quadrant and cable, as well as a set of 3.73. Lately i have been having trouble shifting while driving or standing still. while the car is off i can move through the gears very smoothly, no issues at all, but while the car is running is a different story. 1st gear and reverse give me the biggest issues on occasion i can't even get it to go into gear when i does it while sometimes grind. while driving shifting is anything but smooth sometimes it will stick in gear going from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. When it does come out of gear it takes a second or two before i can put it into the next gear.
I'm really looking to diagnose this problem because it appears to be getting worse. I will change the fluid in the transmission but i doubt it will do any good. i think that when i push the clutch peddle down its not fully disengaging the clutch.
What are your thoughts?
