Do the search. I think there were several write up on how to remove trans. Install is pretty much reverse of that.
Basicaly, U'll(assume tat clutch is in place, aligned with using aligment tool)
1- install trans in place using trans jack, and match the splin. make sure you don't pintch harness braket in between
2- Install bottom half(i think there were 4) of bolts
tigten them enough so that it'll support trans(also make certain that trans is in all the way. Above mentioned aligment becomes very cliticl here.
3 - once bottom are bolted, let tail shaft to hang as low as it go. this will give you access to top half of bolts. Top 2 are beeatch. U'll need looong extention to get to it. And be sure to torque all these bolts.
4 - Once all of bolts are torqued, jack up tail section. bolt cross member to trans and to floor.
5 - connect speed senser/back up light harness. Also reconnect clutch cable.
6 - reinstall Starter. Bottom 2 bolts are easy enough. there are 3rd bolt on top that is beeatch to do. U'll again need looong extention, and have to work blind. Some people don't even bother to redo this bolt. Because its so much pain to take it out or put it back in. I did reinstall, because i had k-member off, and top bolt is rediculously easy to do(as long as K is out). Torque these bolts
At this point, drink beer, as hardest part is out of the way.
7 - Reinstall driveshaft. And fill trans with fluid(its important to do this in this sequence. U don't want to do this backwords. Trust me on this).
8 - Reinstall shifter.
9 - U can finish up reinstalling interior this time. Make sure your not leaking fuild, adjust clutch cable if needs to be, make sure back up light is working. mine wasn't, and nice police officer told me that its not working by writing message on yellow paper
Its been a while since i did the trans. i might have missed step or two. Hope some one can chim in if it is
here are some pics. Its T-56, and they took K member out due to BBK LT. But u'll get some idea
