I have an 04 GT with the 3650. The car is grinding when it goes from 2nd to 3rd and if you try to downshift into 3rd it grinds really bad. But, when shifting from 2nd to 3rd, if i push the clutch in and put the shifter right infront of 3rd, let out of the clutch, push the clutch back in and shift into 3rd, it wont grind. 3rd gear is the only gear that grinds, Also, the clutch engages at the very end of the pedal and it feels like it might be slipping a little bit. Could this have anything to do with it? I need all the help i can get, thanks!

If the clutch is slipping you would know for sure. That could be part of the problem. The synchros may be fubar'd as well. The 3650 is known for having bad synchros. Had mine replaced and my trans shifts very nice. No noises, grinding or anything anymore. That was at 26k miles. Hopefully you still have warranty. I did and it costed $50 to get the job done otherwise it would of been over $1000.
