transmission questions

hey, when it comes to transmisions its a world that iam not to sure on. Iam building up a mild 5.0 with a possible turbo later and want to make my aod some what tricked out. iam ordering the hammer shifter from B&M and was wondering should i get a shift kit? and/or a new valve body? Also which stall converter should i go with since the car is going to be out on the streets most of the time.

get the shift kit.. new valve body will do wonders! and i would get a 3000 stall... and a good cooler!
