Transmission spacr plate/dust sheild

I would think on a track car that it could not matter.....Think key word there.

But on a street car I would be afraid of picking crap up and getting it in ur clutch. Not to mention that it would be 10000 times easier to get water up in there. I ran w/o the cover for the clutch for forever but would be afraid to run w/o the front cover.

I don't know if you think $55 is too expensive or not, but I bought mine for that price from Modern Driveline (they specialize in 5 speed conversions for classic Mustangs and Fords). Do a google search and you should be able to find it.

will it work for a manual trans>?

Don't think so.

Post a "WANTED" thread in the classfieds here or on corral.net for the part and see if anyone offers you one

Actually if you look at the application of that piece you will see it works with a 302 and a t-5 from the fox mustang years. You could give em a call to make sure but according to the website it will work.

BK you have to run it. IT spaces the trans back about an 1/8th of an inch. And it keeps crap out of the clutch area. I've got a few of those at the yard. PM me if you still need on and are interested.
