I have a C4 and want to run a cooler. Any idea what size and thread the out and return line threads are on the right side of the tranny? I think it is about a 80's tranny.

I built the engine and bought a C4 from Autozone, so now I have to/ want to add a cooler.

I didn't know if you had stock lines already...
I always just modify those to add in my aux coolers.
Sounds like you don't have the stock lines though.

So you have no lines now? Well you can make lines with the stuff they have from Napa. My 73's radiator has a built in tranny cooler, but I'm guessing your radiator isn't set up for that. Look at summit racing's website and see what they offer for coolers.

No lines, no nothing but the cooler and tranny. I just didnt want to buy 1000 different variations of hose ends to see which one screws into the transmission and fits with out leaking.

My 66 version had 1/8 female national pipe threads. There is an adapter in one that converts the 1/8 thread to 5/16 female inverted flare threads. The other has a special adapter, it is a 90 degree fitting with 1/8 pipe threads, but it has an o-ring and jam nut so you can change the angle to meet the line, the other end is 5/16 female inverted flare. You can probably work around this one since you don't have it.
