I recently bought and installed a used World Class T5. I picked it up pretty cheap and it was to replace the T5 I blew up last fall. the previous owner is a frind of my buddy's and he said it shifted fine with no syncos problems. But I'm now having a funny grinding when I shift from 1st to 2nd gear, but it only does it when I take off in first and shift to second fast as I were if I were racing. All the other gears are fine to shift too and normal driving is also fine with no issues in all gears. I used 2 1/2 qaurts of GM syncromesh as I heard it was supposed to be the best. A friend of mine just told me to try using gear oil and that should help get rid of the grinding, is this true, and if so what weight?
Thanks.
Thanks.
huh i always thought there should be a slight bit of play when the clutch is all the way out so there wasnt stress on the tob all the time?
