transmission?

What transmission came in a 95 cobra? What are the gear ratios for each gear including final drive? Is this transmission the same one or a different one that what came in the GT's?

In the 95 cobras was the standard T-5, same as in the GT except the tail shaft is longer in the cobras. As for the gearing I have no clue.

I have 3.55's in mine a friend has 3.90''s in his. I shift into fourth before I cross the line in an 1/8. He runs and average of 2 tenths slower than me. With his 3.90's he don't even get but just half way through 3rd. I'm puzzled?

I know 3.08 were stock rear end gears as far as the rest of the ratios I am not sure. There is a spec segment at the top of the boards here in 94-95 specific, if that doesn't have all the info try one of the SVT sites I think SVTOA has all specs.

3.27's were an option for the GT's that is what his had to begin with. the tranny's have to be geared differently or he would be shifting into 4th like me. Still can't find the gear ratios for the two tranny's.
