nope, gearing is the same really. I beleive the 94+ V6 t-5 uses the same gear ratios as the 90-93 Mustang, except they use a weaker material. In 1997, they started using the same gearsets as the 90-93 Mustang V8, so they are virtually idential.
There is the difference in input shaft lenght and throwoutbearing lenght, plus the addition of an electric speedo at some point, but they are pretty close to the same
