Im looking into getting a 91 5.0, the car is in great shape, no rust great paint, the only problem that I can tell it has is its an automatic. Its not really a problem but automatics are no fun. I was just woundering if anyone has swaped an auto trany for a manual, and how much money they had to stick into this project.

Swapping trans, costs money and time. Just be ready to spend some money. I've swapped the t-5 in my car for a d&d viper t-56 and that was a straight across manual trans swap, there are alot of parts to change out.

Yeah, Im not sure if Im getting this, but do you think $5k is too much for a 91 5.0 with 75k miles?

If its in great shape, with documentable 75000 miles, then, yeah, I would say its a reasonable price. By great, I mean good interior, no rust, decent tire tread, good paint, good running, etc.

i dont think thats too bad a price at all. I got my 90 5.0 in immaculate condition for 6K. It had full exhaust, 3.73's, udp, maf, tb and ram air, a brand new beautiful paint job, and new nitto drags. Also only 73000 orginal miles.
