I just did an AODE - Tremec 3550 and when Im driving it, its kinda noisy. Anyone knows what Im talking about? I don't know, it seems to shift smooth but the noise from a T5 and a Tremec is a big difference.

I think it's the way they cut the gears in em and the materials used. My 3550's hella noisy, especially cruising in 5th...Kinda like the passenger's sitting there shaking a bag of marbles. But I recently pulled the carpet and layed down sound deadener, with 2 layers over the tranny and 4 around the shifter base...and it took care of a large portion of the noise.
I did the same swap and my 3550 is real noisey, especially in 5th. I put nylon washers between the shifter and shift handle which helped some. Basically I think it is a pretty normal thing that they are noisey.
the tremec is just a naturally noisy transmission. did you put the rubber boot over the shifter when you put it in? if not, that would explain a good amount of the noise.
