Tremec 3650 in a '66 coupe?

I've got a chance to get a fairly good Tremec 3650 with the bellhousing from my friend's '01 Cobra because he just purchased a TKO600. I currently have the T-5 tranny in my '66 Mustang coupe w/302. Does anyone know if it is possible to use the 3650 in a '66? I'm sure I would need a custom transmission crossmember, and also maybe the ron morris perf adjustable motor mounts. Think it'll work? My T-5 is on it's last leg, and after the EFI conversion is complete - performance upgrades will be next on the list.

Just find another T5...I dont even know if you can find a bell to bolt that trans to your motor. the 3650 is nothing to write home about, dont confuse it with the 3550.

You are gonna need a custom bellhousing adapter not to mention if it will actually fit in the hump.
