Tremec TKO 500/600 Install in a '99 GT

I'm considering installing a Tremec TKO 500/600 Install in a '99 GT and am wondering what's needed to do this. Can anyone help? PS- Stock 4.6L 2V motor. Considering installaling 5.4L- how would this work out?
