Tremec type bellhousing

I was reading somewhere and found out that the older 4cly mustangs and capir's had a bellhousing that was for a 4 spd that would also work for swapping in a tremec. Is this true? I have a part number of D9ZC-6394-BA, if so, can someone clearify the years and models to me. Thank you.

That possibly may be it, but im not 100%. You need the Bellhousing from the 4 speed srod trannies
