Tri -Ax Thready size

So a few days ago i picked up the Hurst T- Handle Shifter. i attempted to put it on and it jsut wouldnt slide on right. the thread size on the Hurst T-Handle is 1/2" by 20. i was wondering if the steeda handle is the same? or Hurst just put crappy threads on the shifter?

Not sure one the thread size but the Hurst T handle is available in 3 different sizes
3/8"-16
3/8"-24
7/16"-20
You may have purchased the one with the wrong thread...

ok I found out exactly what it is 12mm 1.75 pitch
