trick flow or system max???

decided to get an heads cam and intake package and I'm just wondering what you guys think is the best. I'm leaning towards trickflow because of the twisted wedge heads are great. Another question is I'm think that I want go ahead and get a stoker kit 331, dss offers a good kit for a decent price is dss a good company?

i would go with the trick flow kit. i was just in your spot trying to decide what one to get so i talked to one of the guys at summit and he said that the trick flow was the one to get. it also comes with more parts. so i got the trick flow kit just dont have it put in yet.

TFS. If you decide to make your bottom end rebuild a N/A setup, you can't beat the TFS head specific pistons (a nice 11:1 compression ratio would be sweet). Not to mention all the power left in the TFS heads after a little port work and a valve job. I just think you'll end up with more versatility for the money down the road.

Not that I disagree and both kits are great but going to Summit is going to be a bias opinion because they own Trickflow. The Trickflow is my choice too. The only thing it doesn't include is lifters which you should replace when you do your top end.

I have to vote Holley especially if you are plan on going forced induction in the future. The Holley kit gives you tons of room to grow. Mine pulls hard (NA) from 2k almost to 6K. Plus the 64cc chambers gives you a boost/nitrous friendly ~9:1 compression ratio. No experience with the Trick Flow stuff. In my opinion from what I have read and know, you won't go wrong either way. It just depends on price and what you want.

I was in the same boat as you last year... I researched and bought the TFS kit. TFS comes more complete than the Holley for about the same amount of cash.

WOW almost no love for holley eh? im in the same boat as the origional poster but im also struggling with living in austin tx and dealing with the new emissions testing. personally i was leaning to holley mainly due to personal experience with there products but for me i think a stroker is deffinetly out. sheesh cant a bruva just drive his car?!

if you are going to go N/A go Trickflow BUT
if you go forced like mentioned above holley would be the wise way to go.
