Trick Flow Stage 1 cam..

Will the TF stage 1 cam work on a 93 AOD or is the e 303 cam better? Thanks!

sure it will work with a 93 aod, but what other mods do you have? a cam first isnt such a good choice. if you have other mods then i would take the stage 1 over the e cam personally.

I am thinking on doing the entire trick flow package. Street heat intake, twisted wedge head and the stage one cam. That will work better than the e 303 cam ?

Certainly would. Exhaust lift is more on the TFS, and duration is greater. A really good cam IMHO.

everything is better than a e 303 cam. that is like 20 year old technology.

I was considering the same set up. How do you suppose the cam and intake would work together without the heads? Would it make power or would I need the heads to get anything significant?

The E303 was designed by Crane and is identical to Crane's PowerMax 2040. Check Crane's website out for their recommendations on use of the cam. They recommend against using it with an automatic. If you insist -- with either cam -- much more rear gear (at least 3.73, preferably 4.10) and looser stall converter will help deal with the loss of low end torque.
