Engine Trick Flow Street Burner Intake On Npi Heads?

I currently have a PI intake on my npi heads and would like to switch to a street burner intake. I plan on replacing the engine in a year or two if it lasts that long, I'm pretty hard on it. I have a MHS Stage 2 cam and long tubes. I'm assuming that since the PI intake fits then the street burner intake will fit also, correct?

I have read that the street burner intake is do-able on NPI heads (just requires some slight modifications during install).

But why not wait? It is a $800 part. If the plan is to redo the motor then why not do the intake when everything is out of the car and you know exactly what you want- just in case you swap out to PI heads (easier install possibly), go with a top mount blower, etc.
