Trick Flow link

My plans are for a supercharged 331 w/AFR 185's, custom cam, and so-on.

I really like this intake.

Could I get away with the 5.0 intake or would I have to find a different intake match for a 331? Not sure on this subject, that is why.

Thanks alot.

For what they're asking for that intake, I'd rather have a tubular GT-40.

From what i see that is just the R-series intake... I believe Redsnl95 uses that intake... I don't believe there is anything new about it. I have the 5.8 r-series intake on my 418...

BTW: If you do a search its about 480 from most other places... Now i don't know if Summit still does it but if they will beat the price by 10% thats like 432 bucks...

That intake would be good for a 331 in my oppinion..

Well i just checked and summit still offers Beat-a-Price guarantee: Now i don't know how much they will beat the price by..

Summitracing.com said:
We're confident our prices are the lowest. We're so confident, we offer the Beat-a-Price guarantee:

We'll beat any price on a part, advertised in a magazine in which Summit advertises, as long as the part is from the same manufacturer and has the same part number. It must also be in stock when you place your order.

All Internet sites are eligible for Beat-A-price approval with the exception of E-bay. All prices will be verified.

If the product meets the above criteria, the competitor's price will be beat. Guaranteed!

Trick Flow does have a new intake, this is a picture of it.

It is based on the R series lower. It was designed for supercharged and high RPM motors.

I don't know a whole lot about the R series, but it would be ok on a supercharged motor I would guess.

There is no comparison between the big trick flow intakes and the GT40. The GT40 has muuuuch longer runners and is outdone by even the Edelbrock performer.

yeap, that r-series is similar to the rpm2 and systemax2, and it would be great for a 331, it flows 280-290 per runner, so it would match up well with an AFR 185 head.. (fti cam, etc, haha)..

have fun !!

That thing is ugly. I'd rather have something different than that even if it didnt flow as much.
